ABOUT THE SSA
Set up to bring together individuals who work in any area of the Security Industry.Police Fire Services and other appropriate individuals. The Association aims to raise the standards by recognizing and promoting the views of the membership working in partnership with other agencies with similar ideals to our Association, for example, BSIA, SBCC, SITO and SIA.
Ideas and views where thought worthwhile will be made known to the body which is responsible for receiving such information, e.g. The Justice Department at the Scottish Parliament.
The Association aims to become a voice of individuals in the industry and in this way become a "Lead Body" which is consulted on matter affecting the security industry in Scotland, e.g. Regulating and Licensing security industry personnel.
